Needs4Water initiated a project in Huurshe, Somalia in response to local flooding during the rainy seasons of 2021. It focused on the assessment of water sources, water quality sampling, and testing. Using 16-in-1 test strips, the project team measured various water parameters, comparing the results with WHO and country standards. Based on the findings, recommendations were made for the implementation of filtration systems to improve water quality and public health.
