At Kokebe Tsibah School, Needs4Water gathered student insights and tested water quality to guide scalable WASH solutions as part of Ethiopia’s nationwide Project 12 survey.
Kokebe Tsibah Secondary and Preparatory School in Addis Ababa, with over 2,360 students and 250 staff, served as a vital site for advancing the Ethiopia 2025 WASH Survey. As part of Project 12, the Needs4Water team conducted comprehensive surveys and infrastructure assessments, listening directly to students and educators about their experiences with water, sanitation, and hygiene on campus.
The team also performed on-site water quality testing to evaluate the safety and accessibility of drinking water. These real-time measurements, paired with student feedback, painted a clearer picture of existing gaps and risks in school WASH conditions.
