Diana combines municipal utility leadership, mine-water treatment experience, and an environmental science background to support treatment operations, process control, and equipment troubleshooting.

Her experience covers water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems. She has overseen four municipal systems in Nova Scotia, directed field crews, and coordinated maintenance and infrastructure improvements in rural and remote settings.

  • Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Environmental Science
  • Operates ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis systems
  • Develops operating procedures, operations manuals, and technical reports

Diana’s municipal leadership extends beyond plant operation. As a Utilities Foreman, she coordinates repairs, manages procurement and contractor relationships, supports capital planning, and prepares compliance documentation. Her responsibilities include treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, and remotely monitored utility infrastructure.

Her environmental science training supports a practical approach to process control. She uses chemical, physical, and biological analysis, including microscopic wastewater examination, to assess and adjust treatment. She has developed community education programmes and facility tours that help residents understand their water and wastewater services.
