Justin DuPont brings experience operating and supervising more than 20 utility systems around Calgary, covering construction oversight, commissioning, treatment operations, maintenance, and upgrades. His career spans operations supervision, utility management, and a Technical Advisor role, where he works with engineers and project teams on system upgrades, risk assessments, and troubleshooting.

Through Almaquin, Justin’s opportunities extend beyond Alberta, from commissioning water plants in remote Ontario communities to treatment operations at mine sites in Newfoundland. His commissioning work connects engineering requirements with actual plant performance: investigating water-quality issues, troubleshooting controls, identifying deficiencies, and coordinating corrective action with engineers, contractors, and controls specialists.

Justin helps operators develop practical skills to manage their facilities. He mentors First Nations operators in plant operation, sampling, laboratory testing, and distribution valve maintenance. He supports that field instruction with operating procedures, chemical safety guidance, and electronic round sheets that give operators usable references for their daily work.
